Save for the addition of ABS, there have been no changes to the Bullet 500 as compared to the outgoing model. It still continues to source power from a 499cc, single-cylinder engine that is capable of producing 27 hp at 5,250 rpm and 41.3 Nm of torque at 4,000rpm. This engine is paired with a five-speed transmission.

The Royal Enfield Bullet 500 joins the company’s line-up of ABS-equipped variants that include models such as the Himalayan, Thunderbird 350, Thunderbird 500, etc. A few models that are due to receive this important safety feature include Bullet 350, 350 ES and the standard variants of the Classic 350.
