Nissan recently confirmed that they’re launching Nissan Magnite, a new sub-compact car, in the Indian market on December 2. The company has offered a long list of promises with Magnite and it has also generated excitement among people after getting unveiled in October.
The new car from Nissan is going to enter one of the most competitive segments of the Indian market. The Magnite will be carrying huge loads of expectations for the company in India.
Nissan Magnite December Launch
The company has also confirmed that the Magnite will be available in all Nissan’s showrooms across India in December. However, Nissan has not yet listed the pricing and has confirmed that the price list will be revealed on the launch date.
The Managing Director of Nissan Motor India, Rakesh Srivastava said that the launch of the brand-new Magnite sub-compact SUV in the Indian market shows Nissan’s commitment to their Indian customers.
The Leak of Magnite
The last leak of the new Magnite suggested that it might get a competitive pricing structure which may range from ₹5.50 lakh to ₹10 lakh. However, the information from the leak is not confirmed and it can only be verified at the launch. But if it’s true, the big names in the sub-compact SUV segment like Kia Sonet, Maruti Suzuki Vitara Brezza, etc will get undercut.

Features of Nissan Magnite
The new Magnite is going to be available in four different trims – XE, XV, XV Premium, and XL and 20 variants too.
It will also be available in three dual-tone and five single-tone shades.
Engine Options & Mileage
Nissan Magnite will be offered with two options in powertrain – a 1.0-litre HRA0 turbocharged engine and a 1.0-litre B4D dual-VVT. Along with this, the SUV will offer two transmission options including 5-speed manual unit and Nissan’s X-Tronic CVT unit.
The company also claims to have Magnite certified for mileage between 17.7 km/l and 20 km/l, depending on which engine & transmission option has opted.
The Magnite will also be loaded with segment-first features such as an eight-inch infotainment system showing multiple camera displays, a Tech pack, and a huge 10-litre glovebox. Apart from this, it will also offer wireless charging, air purifier, stylish ambient lighting and much more.
