Bajaj Auto launched the new Platina 100 Kick Start model with a starting price tag of Rs 51,667 (ex-showroom) on December 16 (Wednesday). The company also started accepting the bookings for the new 100 KS. The customers can book it through any of Bajaj authorised dealerships across India.
Compared to the Platina Electric Start (ES) model, launched by Bajaj in July – the new Platina 100 KS is around Rs 7,700 cheaper.
Design & Comfort Features of New Platina 100 KS
The new Platina 100 KS gets new features such as a set of the company’s unique and modern handguards that contributed majorly to its fresh look.
The new model also received updated suspension – spring-on-spring Nitrox suspension. The company claims that the suspension offers 15% additional shock absorption and comfort for the rider as well as for the pillion rider.
Apart from that, the new model is available in new colours such as Cocktail Wine Red, & Ebony Black with Silver decals.
Engine & Performance of New Platina 100 KS
The bike is powered by the BS 6 compliant, 102cc, air-cooled, single-cylinder engine with DTS-i technology. The engine is mated with a 4-speed transmission.
The engine is tuned to churn out a maximum power of 7.77 bhp at 7500rpm and a peak torque of 8.3 Nm at 5500rpm. The new bike can achieve 90 km/h top speed.
