Kawasaki India recently announced its plan to hike prices on all of its products, making it the latest company to join the list of automakers hiking their prices by January 2021. The company recently laid out its latest price list of their products. These prices will come into effect from 1st January 2021.
New Price List of Kawasaki Bikes
From the beginning of 2021, Kawasaki Ninja 650 will carry a price tag of Rs 6,39,000 whereas its naked street variant – Z650 – will cost only Rs 6,04,000. The bigger naked variant, the Z900, will now be available at Rs 8,19,000. Similarly, the prices of other bikes such as Ninja 1000SX, Versys models, KX models, KLX models, etc will increase as well.
Here’s the new detailed price list of the Kawasaki bikes that will come in effect from 1st January.

The good news for the customers is that if they book any Kawasaki bikes on or before December 31st, 2020, then they’ll be paying the current ex-showroom prices.
New Variant of Ninja 300
The company has not yet launched the BS 6 compliant Ninja 300 bike in the Indian market. However, the rest of the Ninja models have already been given the BS 6 update.
Home Assembly Of The Company
The company uses its 40,000 sq. ft. facility to assemble the bikes in India. It assembles the following bikes – the Z250, Ninja 300, Ninja 400, Ninja 650, Z650, Versys 650, ZX-10R, and the Ninja 1000.
Some of these bikes are CKDs (completely knocked down) and some are SKDs (semi-knocked down). This helps Kawasaki India to offer its bikes at competitive prices.
Recent Partnership with Idemitsu
Kawasaki is planning to obtain its own Kawasaki Genuine Oil by taking help from Idemitsu. Kawasaki has already made the deal of partnering with Idemitsu, which is one of the leading lubricants manufacturers and suppliers in India.
