Honda Motorcycles and Scooters India (HMSI) launched the CB300R in the country in January 2019, with prices starting at 2.41 lakh (ex-showroom, pan India). The model was imported to India via the CKD route and assembled at the company’s factory before it was sold to customers. Now, the company has revealed that the CB300R has been sold out for the year 2019.
According to HMSI, the CB300R received a good response in the Indian market as it had got bookings accounting to 3 months of sale before the model was launched in India. Now, all 500 units of the CB300R are reported to have been sold out. Whether Honda plans to import more units of the CB300R for India now remains undisclosed.

Powering the new Honda CB300R is a 286cc, single cylinder, the liquid cooled engine that is capable of producing a maximum power output of 30.4 hp at 8,000 rpm and 27.4 Nm of torque at 6,500 rpm. This engine is mated to a six-speed transmission. Feature-wise, the CB300R comes equipped with all LED lighting, 41mm USD forks at the front and a monoshock unit at the rear, fully digital LCD display and dual-channel ABS.
