Ducati India is all set to launch a new motorbike in the Indian market this festive season. Selected dealerships have already begun accepting pre-bookings for the all-new Multistrada 950 S BS-VI.
The Managing Director of Ducati India, Bipul Chandra talked about the new bike equipped with the traditional iconic Skyhook EVO suspension, DQS, Cornering ABS, Cornering LED headlight and much more, speaks of Ducati’s Sophistication values along with high-performance and cutting-edge technology.
He also said that the new Multistrada is specially designed for the motorcyclists who are big on sports touring kind of bikes but are also looking for better performance, comfort, safety, and handling.
Features of Ducati Multistrada 950 S BS-VI
The new Multistrada 950 S model comes with a set of premium features and equipment slightly more than its standard variant. The company has introduced the bike with an international-spec model in three variants available for purchase:
- S, and
- S Spoked Wheels
Engine & Performance
The new Multistrada 950 S will be featuring a Euro5/BS-VI compliant, Testastretta, L-Twin, liquid-cooled, 937 cc engine.
The engine is rated to produce a maximum power of 111 bhp at 9,000 rpm and a peak torque of 96 Nm at around 7,750rpm.
Talking about the gearbox, the engine will be linked to a 6-speed gearbox.
The bike comes with these key features:
- A full-LED headlamp with the company’s exclusive Ducati Cornering Lights,
- Electronic suspensions with the company’s Skyhook Suspension Evo (DSS) system,
- Ducati Quick Shift (DQS) up & down
- A 5-inch colour TFT display, displaying loads of information
- Hands-Free System,
- Cruise Control, and
- Backlit handlebar controls
Ducati Multistrada 950 S is loaded with many safety features such as:
- Bosch ABS Cornering,
- Vehicle Hold Control,
- Traction Control with different riding modes
- Anchoring duties,
- 320 mm disc brakes at the front, complemented by a 265 mm rotor at the rear-end
Price of Ducati Multistrada 950 S
The previous BS-IV compliant model of Multistrada 950 was retailed in the country at Rs 12,84,000. Seeing the price tag of the previous model, the new BS-VI compliant Multistrada 950 S is expected to be launched in the Indian market on the higher side than its predecessor.
