Royal Enfield teased all of us with a brief glimpse of its all-new Meteor 350 in action on social media. Thanks to the brochures leaking way ahead of the teaser of the new motorcycle, we already know some of its features and about its powerhouse, the engine.
According to the two-wheeler manufacturer, the new Royal Enfield Meteor 350’s launch was postponed multiple times before but now the company is finally launching it on November 6, 2020, in the Indian market.
The upcoming Meteor 350 from Royal Enfield was spotted being tested on the public roads, a couple of months ago. This led to the leaking of design features online, giving a good lead on what we can expect from the upcoming retro-classic cruiser bike.
The new Meteor 350 will directly replace the Thunderbird 350X bike from the same two-wheeler manufacturer. And the Meteor 350 is an all-new product built from scratch by Royal Enfield.
Meteor 350 Engine, Transmission & Performance
The new bike from Royal Enfield will be powered by a new single-cylinder, air-cooled, 350 cc, long-stroke engine. The engine is rated to produce a maximum of 20.2 PS and a peak torque of 27Nm.
The long-stroke engine of the bike is reportedly able to deliver higher torque on the low RPM.
Talking about transmission, the bike will be equipped with a new transmission which will offer lighter clutch action.
