BMW Motorrad India is trying to attract more buyers to the newly launched motorcycle – 2020 BMW G310 R by offering it at a really alluring price which is Rs 54,000 lower than its BS4 model.
This aggressive move by the company helped it to undercut some of its main rivals like KTM 390 Duke & 390 Adventure. You will be thrilled to know that the bookings have already begun and BMW has also introduced a low-cost EMI scheme to make it more affordable.
BMW G 310 R Highlights
The G 310 R has become BMW Motorrad’s most affordable, and of course entry-level bike. The new G 310 R features some of the designs of the premium S 1000 R, and the design is also aggressive, very much BMW-like.
So, what’s so good about its design? First, a new level of zing is added thanks to the motorsports look. Second, it features a muscular fuel tank and dynamic rear & front design.
BMW G 310 R Engine & Transmission
The new G 310 R is powered by a 313cc water-cooled, single-cylinder engine, which delivers 34bhp power & a peak torque of 28Nm. The engine delivers the power to wheels via a six-speed manual gearbox. Along with this powerful engine, the bike offers a mileage as good as 38kmpl.
BMW G 310 R Handling
The BMW G 310 R features a 300 mm disc at the front & a 240mm disc at the back that produces the stopping power for the bike.
The comfortable ride is offered thanks to the 41mm upside-down telescopic forks suspension at the front wheel & a solid die-cast aluminium swingarm suspension which is directly hinged monoshock & adjustable preload suspension at the rear wheel.
Talking about the tyres, the bike gets a 110/70 ZR17 at the front and a wider 150/60 ZR17 at the rear.

BMW G 310 R Price & Variants
The new G 310 R is a single, fully-specced variant. As far as pricing is concerned, the Standard variant is priced at Rs 2.45 lakh. However, the G 310 R is also offered with a standard 3-year warranty from BMW Motorrad.
