BMW Motorrad launched the all-new G 310 GS motorcycle in the Indian market yesterday (Thursday, October 8).
The bookings for this new BMW motorcycle have already begun & customers can visit any BMW Motorrad dealership or showrooms in India to book them. The company has also offered another way to book it – customers can fill up an enquiry form on the official website and make their booking. According to the company, the deliveries will be done on the first come first serve basis.
BMW G 310 GS Design Features
The new BMW G 310 GS comes with a new set of striking colours. For instance, the BMW G 310 GS ‘Style Rallye’, offers a black base colour with contrasting blue & red paintwork. Apart from this, you can also notice the bigger ‘GS’ logo on the fuel tank & the bigger Rallye sticker.
One more notable design change you can observe is the new red painted frame unlike the older bike with black-coloured frame.
BMW G 310 GS Components
Talking about the equipment, the company has updated the new G 310 GS with an LED headlamp with an integrated DRL. Apart from the headlamp, the turn indicators & tail lamps are LEDs too.
However, the company didn’t equip the G 310 GS with a TFT display, like on the TVS Apache RR 310. Instead of that, BMW continues to use an LCD dull-digital display on this new motorbike.
BMW G 310 GS Engine & Performance
The all-new G 310 GS is powered by a 313 cc, BS6 compliant, fuel-injected, liquid-cooled, single-cylinder engine that develops 34 hp at 9500 rpm & peak torque of 28 Nm at 7500rpm. Same as the older BS4 model, the only notable difference is the new ride-by-wire system.
The power unit of this new BMW bike is mated with a six-speed gearbox with a slipper clutch.
Talking about the performance, the company claims the motorcycle can accelerate from 0-50kmph in just 2.5s and can hit 143 km/h top speed.

What’s The Price of G 310 GS?
BMW Motorrad launched the new 2020 G 310 GS in India with a starting price tag of Rs 2.85 lakh, which is a very big drop from its previous BS4 model which was priced at Rs 3.49 lakh.
